Easy Valentine Greeting Card

Greeting cards are easy and fun to make and Valentine's Day cards are no exception. A card can be made of simple materials and still be attractive and special for the recipient. The basic card can be made of richly colored cardstock or construction paper. Fold the paper in half for a large card. Cut it in half and fold the half for a smaller greeting card.

To decorate the outside of the card, glue a paper doily in the center of the card. Use alphabet stickers or a felt tip marker to make the words "Be My Valentine" at the top. If desired, the words can be "Happy Valentine's Day" or "I Love You." The card should be an expression of one's own feelings.

Cut out a paper heart and glue it on top of the doily. Add heart shaped stickers or more cut out hearts as desired to the front of the card. Inside the card write a personal message. A short poem is a nice touch, but that special valentine will be just as happy with a note of the sender's deep affection and devotion. Sign the card or give it anonymously if desired.
